Concave Mirrors have some important practical applications in devices such as vehicle headlights and telescopes. The curvature of the mirror influences the position, magnification and attitude of the real images that are produced.

By drawing rays from object to key points on the mirror, then determining the direction of reflected rays, the position, magnification and attitude of the resulting image can be plotted.
